Managing Course Site

Customize Course Menu

Add Content Areas

  1. Under Course Options area, select Manage Course Menu.

  2. Click Add a New Content Area

    -- Select an area name from the drop-down menu, or enter a name of your own, such as "Readings", "Greek Myths", etc.

    -- Determine "Guest Access" and area "Availability".
  3. Click SUbmit

Modify a Content Area

  1. Select "Modify" next to the content name.

  2. Change the name of the area.
    -- Determine "Guest Access" and area "Availability".
  3. Determine if you want to:
    -- Make the content available at this time.
    -- Add offline content.
    -- Track the number of views.
    -- Add metadata.
    -- Restrict the content visibility to certain dates.
  4. Click "Submit" to complete the process.

Remove a Content Area

  1. Select Remove next to the content area title.
  2. Select OK.
