Important Reminder to Instructors

You must make course available so that your students can see it when they log into Blackboard. Click here for steps.

As the "Add and Drop" period begins, it's the instructor's responsibility to update the class roster on Blackboard. If you cannot find and enroll a registered student into your course, then there may be an issue with that student account, please ask the student to contact the IT Helpdesk for assistance as soon as possible. The Helpdesk is the only place to solve the account problem. To see who is already in your class and how to update class roster, go to User Management Section

Blackboard 8 Upgarde completed on June 27th

Blackboard 8.0 upgrade completed successfully on June27, 2009. about 500 old courses were removed from the system.

New Feature in Blackboard 8 you are an instructor, there will be some major changes as follows:

• Enhanced gradebook - Grade Cener
• SafeAssign plagiarism checker built in
• New self and peer assessment
• New bookmarking (Scholar)
• New Blackboard Instant Message (Wimba Pronto)

New Tools on Campus

Wimba Pronto also installed in the computers in the classrooms and in the labs across the campus. A desktop icon is created on the desktop to easy access. To learn how to use Winba Pronto, view the instructions.
