Logging into the BC Blackboard Course Server
In order to access a Blackboard account, you must have a functioning BC user account and be able to open the Web browser and login to BC Blackboard Server. New students need to fill up an "Application to Access the Network and Web" to have the account officially created. If you are a registered new student and don't have a Blackboard account, you should visit the IT Help Desk as soon as possible. The IT Helpdesk is located at the main floor in Talbott Hall.
If you need the application form, you can download it on the Web, and print it out. You can deliver or fax the completed form back to the Helpdesk. Fax number for the Help Desk is 973-748-3682. If you have questions call the Helpdesk (dial extension 224 on campus).

To access Blackboard:
- Go to http://blackboard.bloomfield.edu or
Direct your browser to the BC web site http://www.bloomfield.edu.
Click on Blackboard from the Quick Links
- Click the Login button at the left
- Enter your BC Account username and password in thethe corresponding field, and click the Login button. .
Note: make sure yue entered the correct username and password. If you are unable to login to Blackboard, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.

As Blackboard is hosted on a separate server, in the case that the collge's web site is unavailable, use this address to access Blackboard directly. |
