Using Blackboard


Blackboard provides many different tools available for instructors and students to use in a course. It facilitates instructors to manage class, post course materials, present information, deliver instruction, and post important message.

In a Blackboard fully utilized course during, students can

  • have access to course materials 24x7
  • submit assignments electronically
  • take quizzes and tests and see your grades onlines
  • keep better track of how you are progressing through the class
  • participate in online discussions and share with instructor and classmates
  • have an online space to work on group project
  • chat with instructor and classmates and have fun
  • send emails to instructor and classmates without worrying about incorrect email addresses

Knowing how to use those tools will be very beneficial for students to succeed in the Blackboard enhanced or online & hybrid courses. Click the name of each tool on the left side in the navigation menu to learn how to ues them
