Work in pairs to research the answer to only one essay topic of your choice. Students are encouraged to form their own pair by themselves. Note, if the number of students in a section is odd, one group will be made of 3 students. For the pairs, one student may concentrate on one aspect of the question and the second student on another. However, each student must write one’s own-word essay, and include one’s partner’s name too. Therefore, experience the benefits of team work, but write an individual essay. The essay is due next class meeting.

A student who does not show up during a research day will receive an F for the essay of that day. Also the essay of a student who comes to class late or leaves early, will be severely downgraded.
